We are currently monitoring the development of Hurricane Hilary.
Hurricane Hilary reached Category 4 with sustained gusts of 145 mph and is forecasted to make landfall as a Category 1 hurricane near Ensenada, Mexico. The storm is expected to be downgraded to a tropical storm when it arrives in the Southern California area Sunday night. The National Hurricane Center said that heavy rainfall is expected to produce areas of flash flooding and result in landslides over portions of Baja California Peninsula late Friday night through late Sunday.
Terminal and Vessel Operations: At present, P400 in Los Angeles and TTI in Long Beach are limiting labor, including yard and vessel operations. The US Coast Guard has not declared conditions at the ports, so vessels will remain alongside.
